-Soils, sediments, and geomorphological studies
-Museological studies and the design, preparation, and construction of museum or intrepretive displays, dioramas, and kiosks.
-Archaeological material culture analysis with an emphasis on prehistoric ceramics, shell, and lithics. Historic material culture analysis includes colonial to 20th century with an emphasis on Seminole War and early to late 19th century cultural materials.
-Public education lecture series and donated education services.
-Professionally taught coursework in social, biological, and physical sciences that provide first-hand topical or thematic information for every audience and age group.

Attention Micanopy volunteers. GARI will continue working in Micanopy on Wednesdays and Fridays through June and July. However, Friday, July 1st the team will begin a few days in the lab and celebrate the the 4th. We will return to the field on Friday, July 6th.
